I am just, just like all the rest Classified as an american scumbag, but I won't stand for that I believe in a unanimous equality, but I live in a society that doesn't agree Does not agree with me I don't say much on the matter but I think it's starting to matter So twist my wrist and force feed it to the millennial generation C; Who am I to sing? A simpleton watching the art of collapsing I built my coffin with a window to enjoy the view I guess I'm just getting back to my roots But what are you looking at maybe we should put the screens away. But what are you listening to lately, do you hear what they say about us? (2x) (Peaks) C:

Glovehanded 03:19
I've got a pair of gloves for my hands now So I can finally use that box on top of the feet in the passenger seat of my car And I reach down with my right arm, and swear I'll never be cold again to you You say keep you eyes on the road or we wont be around to intertwine your fingers in mine, locked at the hands Why can't this be heaven? We'll never know why this can't be heaven, but god we're close And we went back to my house to go through my closet and figure out what you wanted to take with you to New York And I that moment was when I realized what I had taken for granted.

about

These two songs were recorded and mixed over two days at Noisy Little Critter Studio in Thorndale PA. The lyrics for The Art of Collapsing were inspired by the act of being surrounded by ideals that don't match yours, and while you are tolerant, it slowly tears you apart. Glovehanded was, and still is, inspired by my other half. This song is about how we talk through our beliefs, fears, and our lives in general in order to understand them better together. For each other as individuals and as a collective within our relationship.
'These lyrics actually don't suck'- CP
